Drivers stock up on soft tyre for French Grand Prix

The red Soft tyre is the compound of choice for the upcoming French Grand Prix, with Formula 1 drivers choosing to shun the Hard option. Pirelli has opted to take the C2 (Hard), C3 (Medium) and C4 (Soft) to the Le Castellet circuit, but no driver has opted for more than two sets of the white-walled Hard, with the vast majority choosing just the one set. Both Mercedes and Ferrari drivers have opted for the same selections which includes three sets of the yellow-walled Medium and nine of the Soft compound. Over at Red Bull, Pierre Gasly has followed suit, but Max Verstappen has an additional set of the Medium tyres.
