Magnussen hit with grid penalty after gearbox change

Haas' Kevin Magnussen will be demoted five spots on Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix grid following a gearbox change on the Dane's car. Haas discovered a suspicious oil leak in the transmission of Magnussen's VF-19 in Saturday's final free practice session, with a further investigation leaving no other choice for the US outfit but to replace the car's gearbox. Sainz and Albon hit with grid penalties in Austria Magnussen will subsequently start his race five positions lower than where he qualifies this afternoon. The Dane joins McLaren's Carlos Sainz, Toro Rosso's Alex Albon and Renault's Nico Hulkenberg in the list of drivers hit by grid penalties this weekend. Gallery: The beautiful wives and...
