McLaren: We’re remaining focussed
McLaren report from qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix, Round 9 of the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship, at Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Carlos Sainz FP3 1m05.219s (+1.232s) 22 laps 8th Q1 1m04.453s (Softs) 9th Q2 1m13.601s (Softs) 15th [starts back of grid due to PU penalty] “It’s been a difficult Saturday for me. Not being able to compete out there today is very disappointing. Preparing the set-up for the race and not even using the performance engine modes made my qualifying very frustrating. 'However, we knew it was going to be like that, and the target was to get into Q2 and help out Lando with a tow for Q3. Congrats to him and to the whole team for a strong performance....
