Vettel mystified by qualifying struggles
Sebastian Vettel had no answers for why he struggled so badly for performance during qualifying for the British Grand Prix. The Ferrari man was unable to match the pace of team-mate Charles Leclerc throughout qualifying and ended up P6 on the grid for Sunday's race behind both Red Bulls. It was an alarming gap of almost 0.7s from pole sitter Valtteri Bottas back to Vettel, and the German had no clue what went wrong. “At least I took part,” Vettel joked to Crash.net. “I just didn’t have the speed. “Usually it’s pretty clear that you go faster from Q1 to Q3 without doing anything, but that didn’t happen today. “I think Q1 we were as fast as in Q3, so it was a bit strange.
