Ricciardo surprised, but delighted, with qualifying performance

Daniel Ricciardo was pleasantly surprised with the performance of his Renault, as the Aussie earned seventh place to qualify best of the rest at the British Grand Prix. At the front of the grid, Valtteri Bottas pipped team-mate Lewis Hamilton to pole, while Sebastian Vettel could only manage sixth in the Ferrari, just four tenths ahead of Ricciardo.
