Verstappen credits father Jos for wet racing tips
Max Verstappen reckons the many hours he spent practicing driving in the rain as a younger competitor, combined with the advice given to him by his father Jos, has been key in developing his talent for driving in slick conditions. Along with Lewis Hamilton, the Dutchman is arguably the best driver on the grid when a track has soaked up rain. This was evident on Sunday when he recovered from a mid-race 360-degree spin to win the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim.
