‘Sorry Lando, these things happen in racing'

McLaren's pit crew have held their hands up and apologised to Lando Norris after costing him a couple of places at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Woking-based squad enjoyed a double points finish in the final race before the summer break as Carlos Sainz took the chequered flag in fifth place while Norris finished P9. However, it could have been much better for the Woking squad had the Brit not been dealt a bad hand in the pits as there was a problem with the wheelgun and it meant he dropped from P6 to P8.
