Record-breaking 550-Horsepower Ferrari speedboat for sale

< ► > You may not know it, but Ferrari powered a powerful Hydroplane back in the 1950s, called the Ferrari Arno XI Racing Boat and it is up for sale on the DuPont Registry and could fetch well over $1-million. The only known Maranello-built Ferrari racing boat was built for one thing: breaking the World Speed Record on the water. It was sold in 2012 for 868,000 ($967,000). Achille Castoldi, a racing champion, proposed such a boat to the one and only Enzo Ferrari who agreed to help him in the endeavour. Arno XI was built to shatter the speed record in the 800-kg class.
