Honda still 'discussing' Formula 1 participation beyond 2020
Honda...the saviours of the 2019 Formula 1 season? Max Verstappen and Red Bull have both benefitted from Honda's engine which has produced a better fight for Mercedes at the top of the world championship. Despite their growing success, Honda is still discussing whether to continue in F1 beyond 2020. Following a run of form which includes two wins and a pole position, Verstappen is now breathing down Valtteri Bottas' neck in the Formula 1 world championship. The managing director of Honda F1 says everything is going well even though Pierre Gasly underperformed during his time inside the Red Bull garage.
