The lessons George Russell took from 'laughable' F3 season

George Russell feels that his tough start to life in Formula 1 has comparisons to that of the contrasts of the results he picked up back in Formula 3. Russell made the move up to Williams after securing back to back titles GP3 and Formula 2 but has largely struggled so far. The car is struggling to remain competitive and the Brit is now the only driver without a point this season after his teammate Robert Kubica secured a 10th place finish in Germany. "My first three years in Formula 3 were very challenging and, especially the first year, character-building, to say the least," Russell told Autosport.
