Vettel held Hamilton up to help Leclerc to maiden win

Belgian Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel says his race at Spa-Francorchamps was ruined by excessive tyre degradation. Having started from the front row in P2, Sebastian Vettel came home a relatively distant P4 on Sunday after a nondescript race. Jumped off the line by Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, Vettel powered back past the reigning Champion down the Kemmel Straight to reclaim P2 but didn't have enough pace to pull away from Hamilton. Hamilton stalked the Ferrari at a distance of around 1.5 seconds over the next 15 laps, with Charles Leclerc slowly easing out a gap of around 5 seconds up front.
