Leclerc edges Hamilton in second free practice at Monza

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc remained at the top of the timesheet in FP2 on Friday, with a session conducted once again under mixed conditions. Running on Pirelli's soft compound, Leclerc clocked with a 1m20.978s that beat Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton's best time by 0.068s. Sebastian Vettel, Valtteri Bottas and Red Bull's Max Verstappen completed the top five. Times to follow... Teams and drivers welcomed the dry conditions that prevailed at the start of Friday's second practice session, with everyone eager to take advantage of the track time.
