Three drivers under investigation for Q3 shambles

Three drivers have been summoned to the stewards over the incidents that arose during the final stages of qualifying for Formula 1’s Italian Grand Prix. Seven of the nine remaining Q3 participants – following Kimi Raikkonen’s accident – were unable to set a second timed effort due to running out of time. It came after a traffic jam arose at several points of the circuit while drivers attempted to back off to find a slipstream. The FIA has confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lance Stroll are under investigation for allegedly driving unnecessarily slowly.
