Verstappen sets opening pace in Singapore
Ahead of today's opening session, the air temperature is 21.9 degrees C, while the track temperature is 32 degrees. With this session taking place much earlier than any other, most notably qualifying and the race, it is pretty much meaningless as far as the rest of the weekend is concerned, but still useful in terms of a basic set-up and testing new parts. Red Bull is strongly fancied here, and while there remains concern over Mercedes cooling issues, Ferrari also insists that it should not be written-off.
