Bang goes Williams' perfect record of finishing every race of 2019. George Russell's first retirement of his F1 career came on lap 34 after he tangled with Romain Grosjean as the pair exited turn 8. Russell protested that he was the innocent party and to be honest that's more or less the way it looked to us as well: "At the apex we were side by side, I had the inside momentum and then come to the exit I was well ahead of him. At that point it’s the guy on the outside that needs to concede the corner."
