Eye Candy: Russian Grand Prix
The Russian Grand Prix is run around the Sochi Olympic venue and provides eye-catching photo opportunities which Formula 1 photographers maximise to produce stunning images, some of which are presented below. It was an intriguing race which Ferrari were supposed to win, but a comedy of errors that at times typifies the Reds in their full pomp. Once again they somehow turned sure victory into bitter disappointment. The gaffes and misfortunes that plagued the Scuderia in Sochi played into the hands of their archrivals Mercedes, who grabbed the gift with both hands and their drivers went on to score an unexpected one-two when they had no business doing so.
