Grosjean was told he could win the title in 2014
Romain Grosjean has compared Haas' current struggles to the ones he suffered at Lotus in 2014, adding that he was told he could win the title with the team that year. Grosjean had an impressive 2013, scoring four podiums in the final six races, and was set for a push for race wins in 2014, but the Lotus E22 was a let down, with the Frenchman only able to score eight points in the entire season, with teammate Pastor Maldonado managing just two.
