Bottas wins, Hamilton third, Merc champions

Valtteri Bottas ended his six-month wait for another 2019 victory with an impressive drive as his win combined with Lewis Hamilton's third position clinched the Constructors' Championship for Mercedes at the Japanese GP. Ferrari's front-row lockout, achieved four hours earlier on F1's Super Sunday at Suzuka, gave way to only second for Sebastian Vettel and sixth for Charles Leclerc, who collided with Max Verstappen on the first lap. Hamilton chased down Vettel in the closing laps but the Ferrari man stayed ahead, the world champion having earlier been left unhappy by Mercedes' pit-stop strategy for him. Bottas takes six points out of Hamilton's title lead - reducing his deficit to 66 points...
