Steiner backs condensed F1 weekend schedule
Mexican Grand Prix – Haas' Guenther Steiner believes that a condensed F1 weekend schedule would be a 'good way forward' as talks regarding future regulations continue. Due to typhoon Hagibis, Formula 1 was forced into running a busier schedule on the Sunday of the Japanese Grand Prix, where teams took part in qualifying on Sunday morning ahead of the normal race time. This prompted many to debate the pros and cons of concentrating the standard schedule of an F1 weekend, with some suggesting that easy cost-saving measures could be made.
