Winning car to join drivers on Mexico GP podium

The Mexican Grand Prix podium will include a surprise with the race-winning car joining the trio of drivers. Mexico already features a unique podium which is situated in the stadium section rather than along the start/finish straight, which means tens of thousands of fans can enjoy the ceremony. It has also featured DJ sets which start immediately after the drivers vacate the podium, but this year will be a little different. A platform has been constructed which will lift the race-winning car, including the driver, up to the platform once the second and third-placed drivers have taken their positions on the podium.
