The kid from Stevenage is now one ahead of Juan Manuel Fangio – and just one behind Michael Schumacher – in the record books, further cementing his place as not just one of the great drivers in F1 history, but one of the greatest sportsmen of all time. F1 being what it is in the wider public consciousness, he might never get the credit he deserves – I mean, he should’ve been knighted at least three titles ago...
