Verstappen reacts to Albon's Red Bull deal
Max Verstappen has backed the decision to retain Alexander Albon as his team-mate at Red Bull in 2020. Albon and Verstappen have combined since the summer break, when Pierre Gasly was demoted for poor performance, handing the Thai driver a promotion just 12 races into his F1 career. Article continues under video In that time, Albon has finished every race in the top six and has moved above Gasly and Carlos Sainz into sixth place in the drivers' standings.
