Honda torpedo Alonso Triple Crown dream

Honda have blocked Fernando Alonso's latest assault on the Triple Crown by vetoing a deal that would have seen him compete with Andretti Autosport - a team that race under Honda power. According to a report published by RACER, the deal for Alonso to race with Andretti Autosport was on the verge of completion when Honda Performance Development contacted the manufacturer's global headquarters in Tokyo for the green light for the final sign off.
