Miami Grand Prix clears crucial vote
It is common knowledge in the world of Formula 1 that Liberty Media want to add a second race in the US, and bring the pinnacle of motorsport to Miami. It looks as if the possibility of the event coming to fruition is a step closer after a key vote went in favour this week. There had been talks for a race to be held around the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins but it hit a snag when locals voiced their concern with regarding noise, air pollution and disruption. However, earlier in January, Formula 1 confirmed that they had consulted the relevant parties and had a new proposed track layout.
