Lewis Hamilton: I’m always going to receive negative attention
Six-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton says he has a responsibility to try and promote positive change in the world, despite acknowledging he is “always going to receive negative attention" for his views. Over the past two years Hamilton has regularly spoken of his conversion to veganism and expressed his concerns over global topics such as climate change and animal welfare. Being an F1 driver has resulted in Hamilton facing criticism and even being labelled as a hypocrite despite his best efforts to push for change regarding environmental issues.
