Horner expects 'rusty' drivers to make plenty of mistakes

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is bracing himself for a costly repair bill once racing finally gets underway in 2020, following the prolonged hiatus imposed on Formula 1 by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. That's because Horner is convinced that such a long-lay off from active duty for all the drivers will have left them less than fully match fit when they are able to return to the cockpit at long last. “This is probably the longest time all the drivers have been out of a seat,” Horner told The Guardian newspaper this week. “That could be healthy in a way.
