Month-long sedation ended as Zanardi continues recovery

Alex Zanardi will be transferred to another medical facility after Italian's "sedo-analgesia program" has ended. Zanardi had been under sedation since being involved in a handcycling accident on June 16, and an update from the Siena University Hospital on Tuesday confirmed the 'stable' condition of the 53-year-old has allowed for his transfer to another facility.
