Alex Zanardi is stable after fourth surgery

Alessandro Zanardi was transferred to a clinic last week for further recovery, but shortly after that he was brought back to the hospital in all seriousness. There he underwent a fourth operation last weekend and the hospital has now shared an update on this. Zanardi is in stable condition, but it is still very serious. Occasionally at Zanardi was taken out of artificial coma last week and the news towards the end of the week painted a positive picture. Zanardi would be conscious from time to time and his son indicated that it was no longer life-threatening. Shortly thereafter, the former driver's situation worsened and he was transferred to the hospital, resulting in surgery. Read more...
