Chinese GP on the verge of cancelation

The 2020 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix is set to be officially called off after the event's ticketing agency contacted fans on Thursday informing them that the race was cancelled. The Shanghai race was at risk since the Chinese government announced some weeks ago that the country will not be hosting most of its planned international sports events this year and it looks like it will be officially cancelled in the next few days. The Chinese Grand Prix was the first to be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, but the event promoter intended to reschedule its race, targeting a date in November with the hope of having fans in the grandstands.
