Nissany to make FP1 debut in Spain

Roy Nissany will make his Formula 1 free practice debut this weekend with Williams in place of George Russell. Current F2 driver Nissany last drove F1 machinery in 2019 post-season testing with Williams at Abu Dhabi. Since, he has been named as a member of the teams' development driver programme. On his promotion, the Nissany has said: 'I am very keen to get in the car in Barcelona. Driving an FP1 for the first time is a huge milestone for every driver, yet for me, it is also a national achievement to be carrying the Israeli flag.
