Full results FP1: Mercedes fastest in varied top five
The first free practice session at Mugello is over and remained without major incidents. The circuit that is on the F1 calendar for the first time is new, unknown territory for many drivers in an F1 car and that went well in this training so far. Now that the first training session is over, we can see the first differences between the teams. Varied top five The Mercedesses are as expected very fast, as Valtteri Bottas noted the fastest time with behind them Max Verstappen with a very small difference. Somewhat surprisingly we see Charles Leclerc back in third position and Lewis Hamilton is only in fourth position. The top five is completed by last weekend's winner Pierre Gasly. FP1...
