Weather forecast Nürburgring: again no wet race this year?
Organizing a race at the Nürburgring in October. Before the Eifel Grand Prix, a rain race seemed almost a certainty, but now it seems to stay dry at the Nürburgring during the race. There hasn't been a Formula 1 race at the Nürburgring for a number of years, but when there was still an annual Grand Prix, it was mostly in the summer months. In the Eifel it can get quite cold and wet in the autumn, which is not the most ideal conditions for Formula 1 racing. That became very clear last Friday. Strong winds and downpours meant that the trauma helicopters could not reach the hospital fast enough, so both free practice sessions had to be cancelled. It's likely however that we...
