Mercedes boss Wolff laughs off ‘best car' Hamilton critics

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has dismissed suggestions that Lewis Hamilton’s statistics have been inflated by the strength of his machinery, after the Briton equalled Michael Schumacher’s win record. Hamilton matched Schumacher with win number 91, of which 70 have been for Mercedes, the team he joined from McLaren prior to the 2013 campaign. No team/driver partnership has scored more victories in the history of Formula 1.
