'Red Bull is considering plan with limited engine development'

Red Bull Racing is looking for an effective way to ensure its competitive future in Formula 1 after 2021, now that it has been announced that Honda will retire from the sport at the end of next year. One of the plans that is now coming forward frequently is to freeze engine development from 2022 and a meeting was held on Monday to discuss this. Freezing is difficult It is now well known that Mercedes sees something in Red Bull Racing's plan, but that is of course fuelled by their comfortable position as leader in Formula 1.
