Brawn: Translator caused worst COVID-19 outbreak
Ross Brawn has revealed the biggest outbreak of COVID-19 in the F1 paddock during the 2020 season was caused by a translator. Given it took place in the midst of a global pandemic, there were very few outbreaks of the virus throughout the year as the sport took various measures to guard against such an event. That being said, there were still a number of people in the paddock who tested positive – and Brawn says the most worrying moment was when the sport was caught off-guard by a translator.
