Ferrari outlines week-long seven-driver test, Sainz to debut

Ferrari will run Formula 1 machinery across five consecutive days at its Fiorano facility next week, with new signing Carlos Sainz to make his debut, and Charles Leclerc and Mick Schumacher also set to drive. Ferrari has recruited Sainz on a two-year deal to take the place of Aston Martin-bound Sebastian Vettel. The team lobbied the FIA in an attempt to permit Sainz to make his Ferrari debut at last month’s post-season test in Abu Dhabi, after Fernando Alonso was given approval to run for Renault, but were not successful.
