Deafening silence on Lewis Hamilton's social media platforms

The announcement of the one-year contract between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes on Monday was not surprising, but it was big news. By now almost everyone has said something about it, but in one place it remains strangely quiet. On social media Hamilton himself has not said a word. Of course he doesn't have to and his statement in the Mercedes press release is sufficient in principle, but it is striking for someone who is so consciously involved with social media and has by far the most followers of all F1 drivers.
