Portuguese GP wins race to fill final 2021 slot

The final place on the 2021 calendar will go to the Portuguese Grand Prix, according to Autosport magazine citing "sources with good knowledge of the situation". The FIA unveiled a 23-race season last month, but left the venue for the race now scheduled for May 2 as 'to be confirmed' with a possible second race at Bahrain among the options under consideration. But after weeks of uncertainty over the current coronavirus situation in the country, reports say that a deal has now been struck to bring F1 back to Portimao for a second time.
