Ferrari junior Ilott to race in GT Challenge

Article To news overview Ferrari junior Callum Ilott is set to step away from single-seater racing for the time being, as he embarks on a new challenge - the GT World Challenge to be precise. The British driver had an impressive 2020, narrowly missing out on the F2 title to Mick Schumacher. Despite being second best, Ilott did out-score Nikita Mazepin and Yuki Tsunoda, sealing three race wins and five pole positions in the process. The move to GT racing comes after the 22-year-old missed out on an F1 seat for the 2021 season, though he does still remain a key member of the Ferrari young driver academy.
