Brivio: Alonso coming back into a difficult environment

The Spaniard will race for the newly branded Alpine team, though his team boss believes he is coming back to a difficult environment. After a tough spell at McLaren, Alonso took a few years off to compete in various championships. His spell outside Formula 1 included a wide-ranging list of championships including events such as the Indy 500, the Dakar Rally, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
