Honda already tested strongest engine setting during winter tests in Bahrain

Honda is very happy with both the engine power and reliability of the 2021 engine. Analyses of the winter tests have shown that the Japanese power unit has even more horsepower for next season than Mercedes finished with at the end of last season. Toyoharu Tanabe announced that. "I believe we exceeded last year’s Mercedes. It depends on the conditions," Tanabe said in an interview with The Race. What exactly the top man means by that is unclear, but it probably involves the outside temperatures and the altitude at which it is driven.
