Rome ePrix Preview: New layout for closer racing

Electric racing returns to the streets this weekend for the Rome ePrix, Rounds 3 (Saturday) and 4 (Sunday) of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, where a new circuit layout awaits drivers and teams for the double-header race weekend which will have FIA President Jean Todt in attendance. On-track Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-EQ) heads to Italy on top of the drivers’ standings, having completed a Formula E first in the Diriyah opener, topping the timesheets in Free Practice, Group Qualifying, Julius Baer Pole Position, and claiming his maiden race win and the TAG Heuer Fastest Lap for good measure.
