Bottas takes pole by seven thousandths from Hamilton

Valtteri Bottas successfully claimed pole position from Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes front-row lock-out for Sunday's Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimão. The Finn's best Q3 time of 1:18.348s was just 0.007s quicker than Hamilton, while the two Red Bull drivers were several tenths off the pace as they claimed the second row of the grid at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
