Cyril Abiteboul joins Alpine supplier Mecachrome

Article To news overview © Renault Sport Former Renault team boss Cyril Abiteboul has found a new job, and it's one that sees him remain somewhat Alpine-affiliated.Abiteboul has been appointed as an advisor to the Mecachrome group. The French precision mechanics group continue to manufacture and assemble components of the Renault E-Tech V6 hybrid engines that are currently in the back of the Alpine F1 cars.Mecachrome recently signed a four year deal to continue their manufacturing contract with Alpine, while the company also have companies like Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Ferrari, Porsche and Rolls Royce as customers.Abiteboul's new role, having left Groupe Renault at the end of 2020...
