Full results qualifying: Hamilton secures 100th pole position in F1
Lewis Hamilton secured his 100th pole position in fine form around the Barcelona circuit. He pipped rival Max Verstappen by just 0.036 seconds for the pole position in Spain. But perhaps crucially, Verstappen will be alone in the battle because Sergio Perez finds himself down in P8. Mistake in Q3 Perez made a mistake in the first run of Q3. He locked the wheels up and spun around but it didn't hamper the other three cars coming around the closing stages of the lap. This put himself under pressure for the last part of the qualifying session and he never really recovered.
