McLaren F1 to race one-off Gulf livery at Monaco GP

Its cars will tackle the streets of Monaco in a distinctive blue-and-orange livery, with the whole team sporting the same colours throughout the whole weekend that spans from May 20-23. The Gulf colour scheme makes its debut in F1, with McLaren realigning with Gulf Oil in July of last year. The two companies worked together in the late 60s and early 70s, before linking up again In the 1990s for the Le Mans 24 Hours. McLaren has previously run the iconic Gulf livery, running it in the 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours, where the team finished second. The Woking-based outfit had teased the announcement with the tagline: "Bold is back," citing back to its long history with Gulf Oil. Drivers...
