Sainz: 'Norris can take McLaren back to the top'
McLaren driver Lando Norris is doing well. He has already scored two podiums this season and is currently in the third place in the championship. According to his former teammate Carlos Sainz he can bring McLaren back to the top. Norris and Sainz were a strong duo at McLaren in 2019 and 2020. Last season they managed to finish third in the constructors' championship. The Spaniard left the team at the end of last year and now drives at Ferrari. Last week it was announced that McLaren has extended Norris' contract until at least the end of 2023.
