How will F1's new Sprint Qualifying format work?
Article To news overview © Pirelli Formula 1 is rolling out a new qualifying format at three Grand Prix weekends this season, as a trial of a new 'sprint race' format. Officially, this 30 minute race will be called 'Sprint Qualifying', with the finishing order of the race determining the starting grid for Sunday's Grand Prix.
