Alpine looks beyond F1: 'I look at it very positively'.

That Fernando Alonso likes to be in a racing car every moment of the day, is obvious now. And that is why it seems likely that when his Formula 1 career is over, he will drive the Le Mans 24 Hours for Alpine. Alpine has had a presence at Le Mans for some time and will be on the grid with one car in the Hypercar class in 2021. The team is now evaluating whether to build a new Hypercar or LMDh prototype for the 2023 or 2024 season. According to CEO Laurent Rossi, Alonso is one of the best choices to bring in as a driver.
