F1 Social Stint | Ocon shows completely worn tyres
After the Russian Grand Prix, the teams and drivers have another week off prior to the Turkish Grand Prix. In GPblog's F1 Social Stint you can read what drivers and teams are doing in the off week after the Russian GP. Ocon shows completely worn tyres Esteban Ocon did something that had not been done for over twenty years: he drove an entire Formula One Grand Prix on the same set of tyres. The last time someone did this was Mika Salo. He did it at the 1997 Monaco Grand Prix. Ocon's tyres could not have lasted much longer as can now be seen in the picture he posts after the Grand Prix! (My face after crossing the line)! Risky one but we are happy to get a reward to finish with #EO31...
